Usb dongle problems

Hi there dunno if anyone can help me i have bought 3 x 16gb usb 2.0 flash drives for storage and when i put the drive into my computer it loads up fine when i transfer files they transfer across no problems maybe later i will look at them and there is no files in the folders and also it changes the files i.e i put some p.c software in a folder on it and also put some NDS roms in another folder when i went to look at it later the p.c sofware was changed to roms i dont think its the flash drive problem being all 3 are doing it so i just dunno

any questions please ask me

What make are the usb sticks, are they brand new, are they actually copying over in the dialog when copying are they moveing the files as well, are they hidden files? or are they read only files

Yer they are brand new they are called flash bought off ebay from different sellers they copy the files not move when i drag across no they not hidden or read only i was copying some mp3s across bout 1 gig worth also some nds roms when i noticed the problem

Try formatting them before using

Have read recently on one hardware-forum about some 16GB and 8GB fake Flashdisks sold via eBay were actually 4GBs... Isn't that your "case"?

My computer right click > manage > disk management

this will show the size and if they are partitioned and the actual size will probably F OR E DRIVE
