OKAY - Everybody listen up!!

When we first decided to install the 'Report Covers' Button - it was in an effort to help members feel more a part of the site, to put in their 2 cents as it were. We are finding that several members are abusing this option.

The Report Cover button is to be used for:

1) If there is a problem with a cover that you are trying to download, like only half the covers shows up or nothing at all happens, like no picture in the window.

2) You have found a duplicate cover that has been overlooked by the Moderating team.

3) A cover that is poorly or badly cropped.

4) Too dark or too light to use.

5) Or blurry.

6) Resolution too low. Below 500x500 CD Covers or below 1500x1000 for DVD Covers.

7) Title name not spelled correctly or wrong title to cover.

8) Or incorrect region code.

You DO NOT report a cover because you've seen it on another site - that DOES NOT COUNT AS A DUPLICATE COVER!!!!!!

You DO NOT report a cover because YOU think the high-resolution is not high enough for YOUR taste. Covers over 3200x2000 and 1MB are considered hi-res, if higher, then consider that a BONUS!!!!

You DO NOT report a cover because you don't like the uploader. Come on - we are all adults here - RIGHT?????

If we find that you are abusing this section - you will be given a 'Warning'!!!
We do not have the time or the inclination to chase after bogus reports.
If the abuse continues - we will see about having that option removed from the site.

Thank You,
Your FreeCovers Moderating Team

I think this"reporting covers" option is a joke...it wasn't well thought out when it was installed, and should be removed until it is made "moderator friendly".
