Hi John

There are two versions of DVD Shrink, one is a subscribed version the other been the freeware version which is the one the majority of people use and presumably the one you are looking for.

Try doing a Google for DVD shrink and look for the (dot). org link & not the .com.

Better still if you go via the afterburner link you will be sure to get the correct version, on the same site you'll also find a nice tutorial.

Hope you can follow me OK

Go to Semi-Official Message Boards at: http://dvdshrink.org/forum/
Start with reading the stickies at the top

Remember, the program is "abandonware", and any site offering DVDShrink 2007, etc is a scam.

DVD Fab HD 4 is good but it doesn't shrink.

I just downloaded Shrink on my daughters Vista laptop yesterday from this site. Works a charm.

dvd shrink may be old,but it does it`s job ok,though some discs will not pass on shrink, and then, comes in fab.i do have the fab but when i tried to backup a disc, the resulting disc did not play, eighter on pc,or dvd player. so it is good to have an old prog, and know that it will work on most discs. clap.gif

HI! BEEN USING DVDFAB FOR QUITE SOME TIME DOES EVERYTHING i.e
shrink (8gb-4.5gb or custom setting or copy main movie with subtitles. When shrinking with dvd shrink check percentage against dvdfab, music & movie dvds. Try watching shrink movies on 42" plasma & then dvdfab much better quality. then again my opinion, but i have tried lots of software dvdfab's quite good (not a fan!!! but if there's any better software i'm open too correction or letter me know
cheers

I'm a RipIt4Me user before it went down and still am. I have only had one that it would not rip and that was the Stargate one that they fixed for me. I had another that wouldnt go, but be buggered if I can remember the name of it, but did it through DVDFab HD Decrypter 4. Then shrink did some more with PgcEdit for those nasty warnings. smile.gif

Will it does compress the files!
I use it all the time, use use this more than any other product.
As it also breaks all the lastest encrpytions.
Sony no problem!

sorry folks but piratebay no longer exists, you can download shrinks or any available decrypters out there from majorgeeks.com ... no fees, no hassle and certainly no spyware or trojans.
