Trying to burn music onto a cd?
I have a blank disk that says its a CD-RW with 700 MB 8-12x speed and 80mins.

I got the music off one cd and onto the computer and onto the blank cd but when i play it in a cd player it says "no disk". Am I being really stupid and using the wrong sort of disk or something? I thought they were all the same :/

What program are you using? I just use Nero8 StartSmart Essentials and just copy. No need to put it on the computer.

simple just download Nero. open up nero express and use the option "copy cd". insert your music CD. it will read the disc, then prompt you to insert a blank CD. and thats that :)

were you burning the cd as data?if so it won`t play,or else the cd was not closed by the programme and it is still open so the player does not find an end to stop.try putting the cd in the omputer and see if it works.
if you don`t leave, you will never come back again

FYI any Bluray drive is capable of ripping discs in MakeMKV, it does not specifically have to be a writer unless youre burning your own bluray discs.

For music CDS, I use iTunes. For everything else, I use Toast.
