When it comes to certain movies, a remake should never be made. Case in point with Spartacus or Willy Wonka. I thought Star Wars would be a big mistake as well, yes some of the movies were ok but still barely measured up with the originals. I am curious to see if the Poseidon Adventure (new one) will continue the long tradition of messing up older movies.

The remake of The Hills Have Eyes was better than the original IMHO.

Probably about the only decent horror remake though.

Actually it was a German singer named 'Taco' and I really liked that version. Of course my all time favorite is Gene Wilder and Peter Boyle in 'Young Frankenstein'. whistling.gif
