I agree.
But the orginal post makes me smile. I remember going to the shops with 10p (which i got by returning bottles to get the deposit) and getting a biggish bag of sweeties.
And if i was good i got a ladybird book that cost 15p, which my mum used to get.

NO NO NO Raliegh Striker peddle backwards and it locked the back wheel, put a piece of hard plastic or melamine (shinny side down) on the road and ride over the plastic when the back wheel was on it brake hard and skid for miles.

Yep got to agree gr8 post.

I loved texan bars.... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I've heard that hey were re-launched a while back but I still haven't seen any in the shops.

The best bike I had was a griffter. Heavy as f**k to carry up and down the stairs.

Also the kids could stay out till all hours and no-one would batter an eye-lid.

Now all they want to do is fight and get drunk and totally ruin the estates that they live on.

Football was gr8 as well. Your m8's turned up at different times and they just jumped on to play and it was like 20 a-side for most games...lololol

Has anyone noticed we have all started to soundlike our parents... eek.gif eek.gif

[attachmentid=908]

Memory was something you lost with age
An application was for employment
A program was a TV show
A cursor used profanity

A keyboard was a piano
A web was a spider's home
A virus was the flu
A CD was a bank account

A hard drive was a long trip on the road
A mouse pad was where a mouse lived

And if you had a 3 inch floppy . .

. . . you just hoped nobody ever found out!
