I was thinking, how do you guys stand on this topic? I'm thinking of getting a 60GB one! biggrin.gif but thats in a few months when i got $$$. Also thinking, would you buy a different brand, same sized mp3 player for %10 less? biggrin.gif

Well the iPod Mini is the portable audio player i have. I still use it every fucking day in the train because the train is boring wink.gif except the girls they're hot.

The audio quality is excellent and the design is cool too biggrin.gif

Features:

* 1.67 inch (diagonal) backlit screen displays full song names and more
* More than 8 hour battery life on a 3 hour charge (1-hour fast charge to 80% capacity)
* Comes with earbud headphones, belt clip, AC adapter, FireWire cable, and USB 2.0 cable
* 4 GB model holds up to 1,000 songs; supports MP3, AAC, WAV, MP3 VBR, Audible (6), and AIFF formats
* Mac and Windows compatible; FireWire and USB 2.0 interface for fastest digital transfer available

So who has got one too? Or why you won't never buy an iPod?

iPod it's very usefull indeed when you want to listen something else than the noise that come to your ears. I bought one more than 1 year ago and I used untill I managed to complete my home theater system. Very painfull experience for a real listener to switch from professional sound to any portable player...so my iPod sits forgotten in a drawer of my desk. I use only I'm going to a picnic with friends and I connect it to my car audio.

I got a 1gb mp3 player for my bday this year and it does the trick, doesnt hold as much as a 60gigger but couple of hours of music on it which is enough.
The quailty of sound is very good and design is nice, just goes to show like AdOo mentioned if you dont get sucked into the media pull there are other makes with just as good quality players out there.

I've got the boring white 20gb one. I looks rubbish but is a fantastic player. It does everything I need it for. I also use Ephpod software for uploading tunes to it. That means I never have to keep the music on my PC's HDD. Nice........

I cant stand IPODS what a rip off, cant change the batteries they run out after a year and a bit, if you try to replace the battery your self apple dont want anything to do with you.

At the begining apple were selling ipods only to be used with apple computers thumbdown.gif cant stand them either

So dont waist your money on one buy an iriver or sony player even check out

bought a sony mini disk player a while back. still serves its purpose. runs on 1 AA battery and it lasts for ever.

Plus, people are getting mugged for their Ipods now. Sad.
