I know several of us have asked for the ability to search by author, but maybe it would be simpler to just add a column on the search results page that shows the author/poster's name? At least we'd be able to identify our preferred item from the list, rather than open each one. This should be a real improvement on site resource use.

I just look at the pictures.

Realizing that I can click on the author's name on any cover & see their most recent 40 uploads leads me to revise my suggestion. If the list of uploads visible was simply complete & included multiple pages, when necessary, there would be no need for an author column, though I would still find that greatly beneficial. As I recall, it was this way quite some time back.

It would help if posters stuck to plain English. For example, spelling Cadinot c4d1n0t does not help a search engine find the right results. .

and you can even choose to show the results as posts instead of threads so you wont have to search through those giant 50 pages threads
